It all started when…

In 1997 EdinburghFlats (as it was then known) was a small family business with one flat, when self-catering holiday lets in the city were very much in its infancy. While Francois was studying at university he would clean the flat and meet/greet the guests. He graduated as a Building Surveyor in 2000 but in 2005 Francois decided to leave his surveying profession to focus on the business and what he enjoys most; people and property.

He steadily expanded the business by offering a management service to other property owners and now the Company has around 25 properties available to rent in the city throughout the year and continues to grow. With so many years experience, we have gained extensive knowledge of the “short stay” industry so we are very well placed to advise on all aspects of this business.
