The property was built in the late 19th century to serve as workers’ accommodation within the mills and leather works on the nearby Water of Leith.

The accommodation is accessed up a flight of stairs from street level and affords spacious accommodation for a one bedroom property. On the first level there is a lovely sitting room and a separate kitchen/diner. Upstairs is the bathroom and the large bedroom with bay window.
